However every now and again you choose certain ingredients and when mixed together they make something remarkable and unrepeatable, as all good things should be. This production was one of those and all down to a brave and brilliantly talented cast and endlessly talented creative and production team. Too many names to mention tirelessly working right till the last performance of the tour. I was given the opportunity to direct the New 2010 UK Tour with its original leading lady Lynda Bellingham and Colin Tarrant, sadly both no longer with us today but not forgotten for their great talents.<\/p>\n<p><em>\u201cSomehow the huge thrust stage of the Festival Theatre manages to create an intimate atmosphere with the surrounding audience, and we seem to be living the story with these women following their hopes, fears and triumphs.
